THE GIG

From sourcing raw materials through to producing and delivering our brilliant products to our customers, you will work closely with the Dr. Martens Global Management Team (GMT) providing leadership and focus for Quality Standards across our Integrated Supply Chain.

As a member of our Quality and Compliance team, you will support the DC operation, Quality strategy and to ensure compliance against these standards, working as part of a high performing team that will develop, communicate and ensure Quality and Compliance Standards that are always fully compliant with internal and external requirements.

In addition to having relevant qualifications and significant experience in auditing Quality Standards within a Supply Chain environment, you will demonstrate great leadership skills and be able to quickly develop effective relationships with, and influence, key stakeholders inside and outside of the business to ensure engagement and compliance with agreed Standards. You will have a passion for learning, a drive for continuous improvement and a resilient personality.

Key areas of responsibility will be:

• Conduct quality training to DC inspectors to make sure they complied with DM quality policies, return process, inspection procedures and quality requirement;
• On-site inspection and report any issue to Quality and Compliance team;
• Provide technical support and give guidance to DC inspectors to maintain a consistent quality service;
• Coordinate with internal parties to solve any issues may impact inspector's work quality;
• Assist investigation if complaint happens;
• Manage the workflow to ensure it is prioritised according to its nature and urgency e.g. inspection, return products; To ensure return goods can get back to sales as soon as possible;
• Manage & analysis the complaint, return & inspection data
• Other job assigned by the management;

YOUR FUNDAMENTAL QUALITIES

• Education: A Graduate in any discipline
• Excellent Quality management skill
• Around 5-10 years working experience, and at least 3-7 years with supervision role in quality control field;
• Frequent travel work;
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (applicable in Asia region);
• Integrity, able to work under pressure and excellent interpersonal communication skill;
• Demonstrate positive attitude to the team;
• A synthetic and practical spirit, good adaptation skills are required;
• Have good footwear & accessories knowledge is must;
• Familiar with AQL standard and good knowledge of safety and regulation;
• Your understanding on the importance of the diligence to maintain accurate records and have the tenacity to pursue the correct information as required from all parties.
• Computer literate with MS office include word, excel, powerpoint etc.
