Senior Developer （Kafka）

Scope of Work

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Perform design, development, unit-test, troubleshooting and documentation for IT applications.

· Coordinate with other IT teams and vendors to deliver IT solutions.

· Provide application support, ensure all production issues are processed or escalated in a timely

manner.

· Follow the processes and procedures used by the company and IT department.

· Provide a third level support to in-house developed applications.

· Provide trainings to IT team members before production implementation.

· Coordinate the installation and implementation of in-house developed applications.

· Responsible for deliver to agreed timelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·5+ years of IT development experience.

·Good understanding of the SDLC process and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

·Experience in Kafka installation, configuration and cluster deployment.

·Experience in using Kafka API including admin, producer/consumer, steam API and Connect API.

·Experience in using Kafka streaming and KSQL to transform, enrich and aggregate data.

·Good troubleshooting skills.

·Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).

Level CET 4 or above would be advantage.

·Self-motivated, proactive, with a passion for excellence.

Require to work during non-office hour, weekend, and China mandatory holidays as demanded.
