Position:  GM - Medical Industry

Major Responsibilities
1. Increases management’s effectiveness by recruiting, orienting, coaching and disciplining managers; communicating core values, strategies and objectives; assigning accountabilities and priorities; developing a climate for appraising job results and offering information and opinions to accelerate the culture change.
2. Establishes a reasonable incentive system and performance appraisal system to guide business result improvement and communication work. 
3. Confers with China facility management team, and Sr. VP of Operations of US parent company and other senior management to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status.
4. Monitors and analyzes current production system to evaluate effectiveness and develops strategies for continuous improvement.
5. Accomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets and results measurements; allocating resources and making mid-course corrections.
6. Improves operational systems, processes and policies.
7. Deploys lean manufacturing in companywide including departmental workflow and information/ material flow.
8. Plays a signification role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operations excellence.
9. Oversees key projects, processes, performance result and analysis to reduce of cost of goods and scrap and increase compliance to quality system.
10. Researches new manufacturing technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
Requirements &Qualification
1. Bachelordegree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or equivalent field.
2. 10+ years of operational and manufacturing experience preferably with a foreign-owned healthcare industry manufacturer.
3. Hands-on experience on continuous improvement, cost reduction,quality improvement.Extensive experience on injection molding management is preferred.
4. Mature, proactive and willing to challenge the team to a higher level.
