Job title: Tooling Engineer

AMS Group BV is a Netherland based company, with own assembly factory locates at Nanhai, Foshan, Guangdong, we also have a team for exporting plastic injection moulds and molding parts to Netherland;

Overall Job Function:
Project management for export moulds projects & local production moulds projects;

Specified duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collect quotations from supplier for new inquiry from clients;
2. Finish some internal documents, such as: mould spec, open-calculation for molding parts, part design review report to clients;
3. After PO, discussing with clients about mould concept & part design modifying requirement;
4. Checking mould layout drawings from selected suppliers and sending mould layout drawing to clients for approval;
5. Co-work with selected supplier for mould building plan and forward to clients;
6. Weekly report for on-going mould status;
7. On-site mould testing, optimize molding setting up & sample inspection;
8. Arrange delivery samples to clients and discussing with mould optimization solutions;
9. Final inspection moulds according to client’s mould spec. and send inspection report to client;
10. Define part inspection specification and issue to QC department;

Special skill & Knowledge Requirements:
1. Deep understand mould structure design & mould building process;
2. Deep understand plastic material properties & molding process;
3. With good on site trouble shoot skill for mould & molding;
4. Know second process of plastics parts, such as, plating, spray painting, printing, etc;
5. Ability to listen, speak, read and write English, especial technical english;
6. Work independently and able to interact with other employee;
7. Good communication skill and flexibility;
8. Open-minded and able to learn quickly;
9. Can driven under high work pressure;
10. Familiar with computer and office software, such as Pro-e, UG, Solidworks & Auotcad;

Academic and relative work experience:
1. Degree in mechanical engineering/plastic engineering/mould designing;
2. With above 2 years solid experience in mould design, mould making or molding;
3. With above 3 years solid experience in project management;
