Overseas Business Development Manager

In this role, the successful candidate will support the Business Development Director for proposal preparation, tracing clients' negotiation progress, maintaining clients' relationships and analysing campaign performances.

Responsibilities:

1) Contribute to and help to implement our business development strategy; provide accurate and customised proposals, media plans and performance reports.
2) Establish sales channels and define marketing plans; expand and adjust client networks.
3) Work closely with the sales team to achieve monthly targets of new clients and ensure high quality products.
4) Prepare and deliver sales presentations at all levels of business meetings both in China and overseas.
5) Communicate closely with our Chinese sales team to learn, understand and make sure our products meet the customer's needs.
6) Supervise and work closely with clients to create products that are suitable to our customers interests and needs.
7) Coordinate with related teams (e.g. editorial, marketing and IT) to make sure that all the advertising contracts and deliverables are fulfilled on time.
8) Help collect content and other marketing and advertising materials from clients.
9) Consistently initiate regular client contacts while seeking new clients and creating new products.

Key Skills:

1) At least 3 years experience in media or related business experience.
2) Excellent communication skills, face-to-face and over the telephone. Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people. Previous experience with international teams and client base.
3) Knowledge of how to prepare and present a professional presentation or proposal. Good experience on how to create a customised media plan and performance report.
4) Strong problem-solving skills and excellent ability to integrate business resources.
5) Multi-cultural background and language skills desirable.
