ROLE:
The Mechanical Planner for Fixed and Rotating Equipment is responsible for planning and coordinating the reliability, availability of parts and manpower for all fixed and rotating equipment. This position works closely with Engineering, Foreman and Production to insure P.M.'s, repairs, parts and manpower are coordinated with the safest and environmentally best practices in the maintenance and repair of all equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Support the safety through visible leadership, including safety meetings, safety through employee participation, use the audit system of the shops, permits, and job site inspection processes to insure safety at every level of maintenance.
2. Attend the daily line up meetings for weekly and daily scheduling. Work with
foreman and production to help coordinate daily, weekly and shutdown work.
3. Coordinate and communicate unexpected work such as emergency breakdowns (zero priority) working with all parties and outside vendors to achieve a high quality repair in a short period of time to reduce downtime.
4. Help in stores stocking and deletion of parts for any and all rotating equipment.
5. Work closely with Planners from Production department and dept. Mechanical
Planner to coordinate mechanical repairs or maintenance activities smoothly.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Education / Certification
A Bachelor of Science degree or a college level in any of the Engineering disciplines is required.
Experience and Skills
At least 5 years' related working experiences as a mechanical technician or foreman or a planner. Understanding of Equipment installation, troubleshooting and repair is needed. Supervisory experience is helpful. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
Supervisory Responsibility
The Mechanical Planner has no supervisory responsibility.
Language Skill
Survival level in spoken English, Fluent in written English and Mandarin, CET-4 preferred
