职位描述：
Summary：
Incorporate sound engineering principles in the design and development of ceiling fan motors (both AC and BLDC). The designs must meet performance, compliance, product integrity and safety requirements. Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgment in conducting research projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete design of impedance protected single phase PSC induction motors for fans. This includes design of motor lamination, windings, insulation system and mechanical methods.
- Experience and knowledge of external rotor motor design is preferred.
- Experience in noise reduction techniques in relation to winding load balancing, rotor skew angle, motor capacitor, and air gap.
- Identify and design new motor technologies for fans, particularly BLDC and their control systems.
- Make technical recommendations to improve performance and efficiency of current motor designs in relation to load characteristics and its applications.
- Review and analyze present designs vs. requirements. Resolve desired performance vs. cost realities based on actual load applications.
- Recommend and develop cost and efficiency effective motor projects utilizing state of the art motor design software.
- Scheduling and monitoring product development progress.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whether through directly management of the project or while directing a motor consultant on the project.
- Selection of most cost effective components, materials and methods. Establishing and administering individual projects and capital budgets.
- Helping, sharing knowledge and experience with project engineers and designer to identify the right motor for their application.
- Work with quality and the factory in resolving motor related issues and problems.
- Constant evaluation of motors design and manufacturing processes for cost reduction.
- Familiar with motor standards and fan testing methods and equipment including but not limited to dynamometers, controllers, and power analyzers for speed, torque, and efficiency calculations.
- Establishment of proprieties, assignment of engineering resources, close liaison with project engineers, safety engineers and lab technicians.
- Keeping up-to-date with new safety and efficiency regulations.
- Motor accessories-Electronic RF and in-line remote speed control design and functional knowledge in relation to motor design parameters, performance, test methodology, evaluation and compatibility with various motors.

Education/Experience Requirements：
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or an MSEE. 4-7 years in motor design with high volume consumer electro-mechanical products.
- Special qualifications or skills
- Detail-oriented, versatile, organized, articulate and professional.
- Able to design and make evaluation based on cost, performance and reliability.
- Knowledge of power electronics in the field of motor controls is desirable.
