Responsibilities
? Detail manufacturing and engineering drawings
? Participate in proposal preparation and development of new products
? Participate in design improvement and/or modification of existing designs
? Establishes systems and structure with key indicators for sustained design and manufacturing capability
? Utilizes established quality systems and keep relevant documentation accurate and current
? Establishes, maintains, and reports key indicators, as established, for responsible tasks and projects
? Troubleshoots or corrects specifications as needed. Ensure training of operators, if needed
? Interacts regularly with design engineering leadership, application engineering, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering to meet and stay connected to key indicators
? Understands and implements customer requirements in manufacturing specifications
? Required to handle multiple processes and projects as assigned
? Evaluates and benchmarks current industry manufacturing methods


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Design validation
2. Intuitive / iterative design conception
3. Cutting tool geometry ( drill bit, end mill, router bit) a plus
4. NC drilling or grinding machine a plus
5. Patent and proprietary
6. Raw materials (printed circuit laminate, tungsten carbide, other metals)
7. Basic manufacturing and grinding operations.
8. Process packaging (process methods, specifications, tolerance)
9. Statistics, Design of Experiments, SPC
10. Six Sigma a plus
11. Good oral and written communication on both Chinese and English
