DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Description
* Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
* Establish clear measurable goals and objectives to determine individual and team results (i.e. operational KOI, knowledge of operational roles and responsibilities, results against project timelines).
* Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational KOI and in the achievement of the customers and Customer Focus team goals.
* Provide on going feedback to Funtional Managers of the team members contribution to the Customer Focus team.
* Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
* Co-ordinate with other departments and other Flextronics sites to drive for excellence.
* Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
* Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
* Report to leadership team in weekly operations reviews.
* Coach and mentor Operations leadership.
* Coordinate activities of large teams and keep them focused in times of crises.
* Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
* Implement applied HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
