DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Description
The commodity manager will ensure the sourcing and procurement activities aligned with Multek vision and strategies, through setting meaningful goals, maintaining and implementing sound sourcing disciplines, developing partnerships with key suppliers and fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders (Engineering, manufacturing, quality, planning) as well as developing strong partnerships with strategic partners to support organization growth and improvement.

* Establish sourcing goals in alignment with supply chain and company goals, measure and report the progress through KPI & reporting.
* Ensuring the sourcing decision are made in alignment with cost, quality, lead-time and other business objectives.
* Maintain and implement responsible cost reduction and cost avoidance program to achieve cost optimization
* Work with suppliers to develop quality and lead-time improvement programs, as appropriate.
* Identify, evaluate and qualifying the new suppliers as appropriate to develop reliable & strategic supply base.
* Maintain the awareness of changes to market availability and pricing of base raw materials.

Requirement:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering field is preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commodity role in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated leadership experience.
* Familiar with PCB manufacturing process and processing materials.
* Good communication skills and be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with all functional areas.
* Fluent speak and written in English and Mandarin
* Occasional travel to suppliers is required
