Responsibility:
1. New materials/vendor development:
* Work with brand materials team to understand fashion trend, collect and deliver qualified colorswatch as required.
* Gate keeper of any new supplier entrance, provide valuable comments of necessity the request, work on substitution or back up plan
* Arrange and tracking new items physical testing and report result, raise up concerns if find risks.
2. Reporting relevant to business:
* Coordinate with vendor/suppliers tracking MOQ list, validate request correctness, submit to brands for approval
* Work with suppliers identify long lead time items, raise up delivery concerns to brands by LLT reporting
* Track and validate excess and obsolete materials inventory, report to brand and finance to process payment
3. Day to day supporting:
* Working with vendors and suppliers find solution on the delivery, color, quality etc issues.
*Coordinate supplier audit with compliance team and tracking/update result to team.
*Facilitate product testing request, promote VF standards well noted among all approved suppliers.
*Information/data confirmation to support PD/costing special request.
Qualifications:
* College Degree or above.
* At least 3 years of experience in footwear industry or related industry, familiar with shoe development and manufacturing process.
* Strong skills of Microsoft office software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Internet.
*Good interpersonal and organization skills.
*Good working attitude, initiative and patience.
