DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description

Software Development and Integration



Responsibilities:

Included, but not limited:

* Analyze system requirement and hardware schematic for software design;

* Develop and maintain software requirement based on SYS and HW inputs;

* Design and develop the software architecture for automotive ECU
embedded software;

* Records & reports on clarifications or possible misunderstandings
and/or changes to specifications;

* Guide and perform the detailed design of the software; components;

* Verify and validate software on the bench and in vehicle, including
static test, dynamic test, unit test and integration test;

* Report on design, implementation & verification activities
progress and identified risks within a software development project;

* Support and guide the software validation within a software
development project;

* Follow software process using SPICE reference models to develop
motion control, telematics, lighting control products;

* Develop the software following AutoSAR architecture

* Cooperate with team in Canada and Germany



Requirements:

* 5+ years of embedded software development experience in automotive
electronics area

* Thorough knowledge and good understanding of micro-controllers and
microprocessor system applications

* Good knowledge of communication interface such as SCI, UART, SPI,
LIN, CAN

* Experienced in C and assembly languages programming

* Familiar with standard protocol specifications such as ISO11898,
ISO14229, ISO15765, JAE2602

* Experienced in CAN/LIN test tool-chains: CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela
Studio

* Experienced in AutoSAR (MCAL/OS) is preferred

* Experienced in architecture design with EA is preferred

* Experienced in motion control products (Sunroof / Door /Power
Liftgate Control Module) development is preferred

* Experienced in telematics product development is preferred

* Experienced in LED lighting drive product development is preferred

* Experienced in Freescale / NXP / Infineon / ST / Microchip MCUs is
preferred

* Experienced in using Matlab Simulink and Stateflow is preferred

* Knowledge of software configuration management tools such as
Subversion

* Knowledge of software change management tools such as Serena Business
Manager (SBM)

* Willing to continuously learn the new technology

* Good teamwork spirit and willing to travel domestic and overseas

* Good English reading/writing and verbal communication skills are
required
