职位描述：

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Is the delegated authority covering Product Management input into decisions which are required to be made during (Agile) product development;

· Engages directly in Agile development activities including product backlog refinement, sprint planning and providing market input during sprint meetings within an NPI team;

· Escalates critical decisions impacting product vision and/or roadmap planning to the Product Manager - OMEC when needed;

· Is the ‘go-to’ person for domain information and for representing the voice of the customer to the development team;

· Provides timely decisions on Product Requirements, identifying where additional information is required and how it can be obtained and captured within the product backlog;

· Prioritizes product requirements and development work items for the team, based on stakeholder requirements and market understanding;

· Helps the development team understand the requirements set out within the product backlog, providing the detail required to understand how these should be addressed, with particular focus on the user/customer experience of the product;

· Is accountable for the coordination and delivery of customer-focused instrument testing as an integral element of the development process;

· Is an active participant in customer testing;

· Helps the team get access to expert stakeholders;

· Educates the development team in the business domain;

· Demonstrates development solutions to key stakeholders.

Entry Qualifications

· A higher degree in a physical science such as chemistry, physics or material science is preferred but a person with relevant and demonstrable experience or training is acceptable.

Skills & Experience

· Extensive experience of analytical instrumentation use, particularly using particle size and shape analysis techniques such as image analysis or laser diffraction;

· Expertise in a relevant application area associated with materials characterisation;

· A good analyst – assimilating a wide range of information into defined features or tasks

· Extensive experience of data analysis;

· Excellent communication skills, coupled with an ability to instil confidence in the receiver;

· Good listening skills and the ability to translate what a customer says into what they need

· Ability to bring together and motivate a team.

Knowledge

· Must have excellent command of spoken and written Chinese. The ability to communicate technically in English would be advantageous;

· Knowledge of Product Management tools, including classic product lifecycle and market sector analysis, would be useful;

· Knowledge of Agile development processes would be useful.
