Responsibilities:
- Follow up global processes and standards for Supply Planning.
- Ensure to run monthly Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (generic and specific).
- Participate in plant level S&OP, to prepare for Business Unit and S&OP Supply Review discussions
- Site Supply Planning representative to the Executive S&OP meeting
- Ensure Plant Supply Review meetings take place in accordance with S&OP cadence.
- Manage day-to-day activities and career development for Site Supply Planning
- Conflict resolution within the Supply Planning organization when Site Supply Planning is involved
- Recruit, hire, train, and manager Site Supply Planners
- PublishLate Backlog CRD Report, Freight & Duty Report & Engineering Series Constrained Report*
- Own and Develop Plant Rough-Cut Capacity Planning(Generic and Specific)
- Analyse all work centres and hierarchies for capacity overloads and under-loads (vs. Plant Planning Requirements, global demand plan), in order to establish which work centres/hierarchies will require further investigation as part of the Supply Planning Review.
- Facilitate Plant Supply Review meeting
- Ownership of Story Board development which consists of proposing initial categorisations (a,b,c,d) and reasons (man, machine, material) which are finalised during the Supply Planning Review and are reported to product management & included in the Executive Meeting.
- Liaise with Global Supply Planners on demand clarifications
- Loading of low risk component MPS into APO at plant level based on Plan for Every Part (PFEP)/Product Segmentation Analysis which drives ATO.
- Ownership of inventory for ATO products
- Review production orders/schedules alignment within the supply plan to proactively identify & assist in addressing upcoming potential shortages. Review if SSK customers are getting the right priority.
- Serve as single-point-of-contact in the plant for the Global Supply Planner & Inventory Planner in resolving identified issues or making changes (e.g. CIC)
- Work with Global Supply Planner, Scheduler & Operations on short- & medium-term actions to address CRD performance issues
- Liaise with GSP’s & GIP to review recommended SS for the site, explain rationale & get consensus
- Ownership of Site Planning Material Master Data Management (Lot size rule, Min Lot Size Qty, Published Lead time)
Requirements:
- University graduated
- 6 years Planning experience, APICS certification also required ( or achieved early after recruitment)
- Ability to develop new processes and grasp new technologies
- Can drive change within the Supply Planning Organisation
- Practical knowledge of SAP MM/PP/SD modules.
- Good written and spoken English
