职位描述：
?Provide technical leadership of cross-discipline team and ownership of the technology associated with a product stream
?Collaborates very closely with the Sales and Marketing, Operation and Product Manager to give clear vision and priorities to the team
?Acts as the primary technical authority for the product stream – from concept though to production
?Manage sustaining and continuous improvement activities for existing products
?Line management of the team. Including performance appraisal, regular one-to-one meetings, goal setting, health and safety of staff
?Day-to-day technical leadership of cross-discipline team (including system, electronic, mechanical, software, application and technicians)
?Develops and owns the architecture, technical strategy and technology roadmap for the product stream
?Responsible for new product development
?Ensuring IP is managed effectively within the product stream
?Delivery of feasibility activities in support of the product stream
?Motivating the team, and enabling innovation and problem solving
?Assist in the recruitment process where appropriate, including selection and interviewing of new engineers
?Ensure that products comply with China standards of product safety regulations, environmental regulation, as well as international regulations where appropriate
?Technical quality of the products
?Providing clear and concise technical reporting

Entry Qualifications
?Degree level or equivalent in engineering or science based subject
Skills & Experience
?Commercially aware engineering/science professional with a high level of technical competency and a number of years experience leading the design and development of technologically advanced products.
?Significant experience (7+ years) gained in an instrument development environment or similar industry
?Leading multidisciplinary teams (size 5-20 people)
?Working effectively with geographically distributed teams
?Working to meet commercially agreed timescales and product costs
?Working within ISO9001 process

Knowledge
?Instrumentation product development or similar
?Agile / Lean Development principles and practices
?Able to oversee regulatory compliance to ensure products meet appropriate regulations such as LVD, laser safety, EMC, export compliance etc.
?Knowledge of design for manufacture and concurrent engineering techniques
?Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills, with the capability to work collaboratively.
?In-depth knowledge and experience in multiple (more than two) discipline areas of system, optic, algorithm, electronic, mechanical, software or manufacture engineering 举报 分享
