Job description of Application Engineer应用工程师
Report Structure:
Report to MSC General Manager
Objective of the Role
- The purpose of Application engineer is to serve domestic customers to the highest satisfaction, meantime maintain and create Mors Smitt relay expert image perception and continual improvement in the market place
- Provide technical support and service to domestic customers include recommend the right products in terms of customer applications; introduce Mors Smitt competitve advantage and technology knowhow to customers; develop new functions or new products in terms of customer demand; upgrade MS products for long term profitable growth.
- Build up & Enhance customers relationship through regular visit and local presence and valuable technical service;
- Active Onsite action, or based on customer requirement, understand customer application, provide engineering consultants and solutions, training, to make sure all MS products are correct understood by customers.
- Generate new ideas or innovations in terms of customer new demands and applications for new product or function development.
- Assistant for sales person on Comercial founction, local presence, defective explanation, cost negotiation through value advantages, and so on.
- Build up China market perception through Engineering actions focus on PTD market and General industry.
- Assistant sales person in Maintaining market growth CAGR over 30% on yearly base through engineering service and solutions.
- Build up Mors Smitt relay expert image perception in market place through local presence, technical seminar, technical service, and value added technical service.

Background of Candidates
- Education : Electric Engineering subject, in University degree.
- At least 5 years experience in Relay design and research department.
- Technical service experience in PTD, extra experiences in Oil-gas, Minning, Heavy Industry is a plus.
- Presentation skill must have.
- Project management skill and experiences.
- Success project experiences, especially as project leader.
- Expert knowledge on Relay manufacturing.
- Knowhow on Relay application in general industry.
- Independent worker, Suitable for high presure, able to travel up to 60% higher
- Very good communication skill to both internal and external on every level, able to generate accurate report and follow up projects
- Knowhow & Experience on low voltage electrcs instrument application, installation.
- Analitic, and business acumen， and negotiation skill.
- English is working language
- Skill on inhouse paper work, dealing with customer inquiry and necessary 举报 分享
