Assistant Procurement Manager( Comm. Agency Procurement team leader)

Job purpose
Lead the procurement team 1 (with the category coverage as mentioned in below section) to manage daily purchase activity. Executesandimplements strategy over China undertheguidanceofthe Lead Buyer, Country Purchasing Head.

Coach the team member to possess necessary skills

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university
Area of specialization: Trading, Supply Chain, or Purchasing (Sourcing and Procurement)
A post-bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (e.g., Masters, MBA or equivalent) would be a plus.
7+ years experience in purchasing, marketing &/or sales of multinational corporate, with contract management experience.
4+ year of experience in FMCG or Consumer Healthcare industry.
The company reserves the right to consider candidates not possessing these minimum requirements but who possess an equivalent combination of comparable education and experience. Internal Career Development candidates are one example where minimum educational and job experience requirements may be not be applicable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of Marketing and Sales activities, especially on comm. Agency and market research, with knowledge on media buying as a plus.
Experience in management of comm. agency (advertising agency, PR agency, production agency, consulting agency, marketing agency, promotion agency).
Possess purchasing (sourcing & procurement) techniques and processes.
Knowledge of contract management
Experience on e-purchasing will be a plus
Global picture and strategic thinking combined with operational execution follow up and management.
Ability to influence all levels of management and other functional areas (business, finance, legal…)
Capability to work in a regional organization with multiple clients, dealing as well with corporate/global
Good communication, team work, organizational skills and ability to work with multiple deadlines
Strong internal customer & business focus, result orientation and change management experience
Good computer skills and system knowledge including e-technologies for sourcing & procurement
Excellent oral and written English

CERTIFICATION
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical business as a plus. Interpersonal skills to manage both internal needs & clients and external resources (suppliers)
