Role Summary/Purpose
The role is responsible for management of employee training, skills and resources, unit business performance, provide technical support, & process improvements to cross functional GE teams. The leader must be proficient as both a technical engineer, and a customer representative. As a leader you will be responsible for compliance, setting team strategy, driving effective escalation and issue resolution process. You will also be responsible for team staffing and performance.

Responsible for all GE programs/products with assigned customer(s)

Provide Single Point of contact to the Customer, Customer Team, and all other GE stakeholders

Effectively communicate and influence other programs and their interactions and relationships to ensure proper resources are applied

Develop or improve processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness of local, regional or global teams

Provide administrative management for direct reports

Provide program leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer, user, and other GE field personnel in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned product lines

Able to provide direction on more than one GE product and required skill sets for assigned FSEs

Provide experienced Program Management for major accounts, consisting of several GE product lines assigned to a Major Customer or sizeable group of Customers

Provide direction in proper operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and technical program management of assigned products and ground support equipment

Provide customers and assigned FSE’s guidance on the effective use of our engine health trend monitoring tools

Review effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training needs and improve maintenance practices

Assist customer with fleet management tasks such as workscope reviews, critical service bulletin justification, maintenance optimization, engine removal forecasting and staggering

Monitor test cell operations and engine RFI spares level planning as required

Apply analytical tools to assist the customer and GE with root cause analysis, issue resolution, and trend analysis

Mentor assigned FSE’s on the proper use of our Tech Infusion, Lean Six Sigma and other analytical tools

Assist our product support organizations with data collection, timely reporting and analysis for early identification of fleet issues and influence GE organizations to take proactive actions to minimize customer impact

Identify sales opportunities for assigned products as appropriate

Instruct FSE team on the Fleet Data Management and associated reporting systems

Instruct customers on the use of our customer web center and other e-business tools

Lead and mentor assigned FSE’s

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or related field

Demonstrated effective field support of customer operations and maintenance of GE or CFM engines

A proven track record of building positive customer relationships

Significant experience effectively interfacing with key GE support functions

Significant large commercial engine experience

Ability to lead high performing teams

Demonstrated proficiency with the latest FSE technical, analytical and process improvement tools

Sustained overall strong performance as an FSE or equivalent position

Demonstrated ability to influence customers and GE peers

Demonstrated proficiency with our engine health monitoring tools

Fluent in English
