Role Summary/Purpose
Internal Communications manager for GE Healthcare China are responsible for assisting the Communications Leader in the development and deployment of the business’s employee communications strategy, keeping alignment with GE Healthcare’s overall communications strategy and global messaging. This role reports directly to the Communications Leader.


Essential Responsibilities
1. Assist the Communications Leader in the development and deployment of the business’s employee communications strategy, keeping alignment with GE Healthcare’s overall communications strategy and global messaging. 2. Assist in the development and execution of strategic communications plans and programs which support: a. The business CEO and the senior business leaders including HR b. Key business initiatives like customer advocacy, new product introductions c. Internal events such as Leadership Summit d. Significant business actions e. 3. Manage key business communication vehicles including newsletters, employee magazine, townhall events, webcasts, webchats, employee roundtables, and the intranet. Assist the Communications Leader in the execution of speech writing, written business updates, leadership conference calls, and leadership field and plant visits. Assess all vehicles for effectiveness and update accordingly. 4. Partner with HR to communicate the administration and results of employee feedback mechanisms including the GE Opinion Survey. Assist with communication strategies that will address significant business issues and areas of concern. 5. Assist in the delivery of an integrated business communications plan along with the Public Relations and Marketing Communications teams. 6. Work with GE Healthcare’s Global Communications team on cross-business opportunities, , development of common processes and programs. 7. Develop meaningful and actionable metrics to measure reach and effectiveness of business/GEHC communications. 8. Ensure all employee messages are globally aligned with the strategic requirements of GE Healthcare.


Qualifications/Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or a related field and minimum 3 years communications experience OR minimum 5 years communications experience covering organizational communications, PR or marketing communications2. Must have the ability to execute strategic communications plans and also deliver at the tactical level3. Strong written communication, presentation and planning skills with demonstrated experience speaking and writing clearly and convincingly4. Experience working across multiple levels and functions; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver key messages effectively both verbally and in writing5. Experience with and knowledge of print, video and web technologies6. Working knowledge of English language (oral and written)
