职位描述

JOB SUMMARY
This position is in charge of the management, development and execution of Iron ore division sales in China with agreed marketing objectives and strategies and within the limits of expenses defined in the budget. It aims to achieve or exceed the sales forecast defined in the budget. Our business scope covers a portfolio of steel mills of different sizes in China Market.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and execute the physical trading of iron ore and ensure adherence of sales activities to Company’s marketing objectives and strategies.
  • Ensure the achievement of the yearly sales forecast, through the adequate planning and co-ordination of its human and material resources. Particular responsibility for turnover, margin and position management
  • Contribute for the development of new strategies which allow the company to preserve its competitiveness and increase its market share, through the adequate analysis of market trends and opportunities;
  • Translate market information and knowledge into value generating trading including developing new services/products;
  • Negotiate and conclude spot and/or term contracts with customers;
  • Assist with projects, if required;
  • Build and maintain (long term) favorable relationships with customers and other key stakeholders;
  • Provide all relevant information, including analysis for budget, performance review and managing report purposes;
  • Represent Company externally with customers and partners as needed, to create a positive external image of the company;
  • Assist Sales Manager to make sure the adequate training, development and motivation of the team and the optimization of its performance aimed to encourage the achievement of objectives.
