RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Participates with Senior Engineer to contribute to project completion by carrying out general analytical tests, collecting data.
2. Provides general telephone or on-site application recommendations and trouble-shooting assistance to Sales, Customer, Distributor, R&D and Marketing departments.
3. Provides general technical service training or seminar for Customer, Sales or Distributor, skillfully prepares and delivers oral presentations using PowerPoint or EXCEL.
4. Provides appropriate solutions to customer’s problem using readily available, clear, and direct references.
5. Assists Sales or Distributor to promote products for customer.
6. Skillfully in Application Engineering laboratory equipment operation and test methods. 
7. Sample management including sample delivery, applying.
8. Performs a variety of routine tasks that are planned.
9. Collects, organizes, and reports data and conclusions in WORD, EXCEL, or PowerPoint formats.
10. Other Duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• EDUCATION

College degree or above in any Chemical related field (preferably in Polymer Materials or Chemistry) or technical school if the candidate is with excellent experienced industry or lab background.

• EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience of technical service or R&D in the Chemical Related Industry (preferably adhesive or paint). Outstanding fresh graduate would also be considered.
2. Work experience in adhesive, coating, paint, resin industry is preferred.
3. Familiar with adhesive application in electronics, industry or medical fields.
4. Familiar with testing equipment.
5. Excellent people skills, Self-motivated, independent performer with good analytical and communication /computer skills 
6. Good communication skills in both written and verbal English and ability to work in cross-functional teams is mandatory.
