1. JOB SUMMARY
To guarantee the adherence of the BRBF production and quality plan through service agreement with ports in China. Responsible of giving technical and administrative support to the Port Operation Manager and in building the necessary interfaces with cargo agents and port operators.
2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Help to increase the production of ore blending and material loss control by analyzing the data of port operation activities;
Analyze process data, plan experiences and statistically analyze results, evaluating the process with simulations;
Disclose technical information through elaborating and presenting research results, reviewing technical studies, realizing technological events and elaborating descriptive reports;
Develop the flow sheet of the process for the operational units, develop integrated process routes and indicate the best operational plan to achieve the volume planned;
Know the process parameters and dimension the process equipment;
Develop management reporting processes of blending and material loss;
Advise the Management in decision making through the information related to quality control, material loss, good manufacturing practices and quality systems;
To organize the various information generated in each port activity, operating and sales (e.g.: Bill of Landing (BLs), Draft surveys results, Certificate of Analysis (CoA) results, simulated blending, Delivery orders (DO), actual amount of load sold, chemical composition of each batch (final result of the certificate of Analysis), detailed analysis of the loss of load, among others;

2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

To clean and analyze the information generated to subsidize the decision-makers in possible strategies to mitigate the risk of loss of load;
Develop a strategy of performance of the various processes in the various ports that handle the loads of all in order to mitigate the risk of loss of load and adherence in the quality of the "blending" of the loads;
Monitor and treat the non-conformities;
Monitor and treat the contaminations;
Develop working groups and performance meetings with ports to achieve the continuous improvement and to increase the productivity;
Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal sections and external entities such service providers, consultants, local and government authorities, customers etc. with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner;
Lead and direct the management of change through continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes and practices considering ‘international leading practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans;
Develop and oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service;
Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude;
Preserve environment of the area, through effective implementation of mitigating procedures. Implement the 5S policy in the industrial facilities through anti-contamination campaigns;
Ensure that all departmental reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet China Blending and Distribution requirements, policies and standards.
