Key Accountabilities:
? development and execution of project through various stages of product design, according to Hyva New Product Development (NPD) process
? Following our NPD milestone procedure and ensure accuracy in the project documentation.
? Co-ordination with internal Customers
? Mechanical design including techniques such as FMEA, DFMEA, strength calculation, dynamic loading
? Design, Development Prototyping in a variety of materials to prove concepts or design solutions.
? Liaise with test manager to develop suitable tests to confirm design concept.
? Documentation & Implementation of ISO Procedure.
? With producibility, optimization of the design to ensure robust manufacturing process of the products where possible.
? Ensuring proper tolerancing (components) and tolerance stacks are completed for each sub/final assembly. Referenced by DFMEA.
? Preparation & Checking of Manufacturing Drawings.
? Engineering Data Preparation in BAAN IV,

Network & Links:
The job holder will work with the R&D members of Development, Testing and Producibility

Professional qualification and experience
Critical Knowledge:
? University degree in Engineering or design subject
? Technically sound and have experience in designing and developing complex engineering equipment.
? The incumbent shall have excellent commercial acumen and knowledge of product costing,
? Good knowledge of hydraulics, related electronics and mechanical structures (at least two of the three)
? Proficient in 3D CAD software as well as thorough knowledge of ERP system.
? Fluent in written and spoken English

? Analysis skills
Critical Experience:
? 3-6 years of experience in the field of Design preferably in an international industrial (corporate) environment
