Ocean Senior Product Manager Shenzhen Branch-for a global freight forwarding company
The Client:
Our client is global freight forwarding company, and looking for a candidate with solid freight forwarding experience in Ocean Product aspect.
Reports to: Shenzhen branch manager
Responsibilities
? Provide clear direction for all commercial OCEAN activities through the establishment and execution of a solid Milestone Plan.
? Strategic direction and Shenzhen Branch financials in Ocean product, contributing to the North Asia result.
? Manage procurement, allocation capacity and pricing
? Managing ocean carriers locally
? Managing LCL and CFS supplier, execute successful peak.
? Producing competitive ocean products for selling
? Establishing close interaction with destination product and sales force
? Close work with North Asia ocean manager, follow his strategic guiding
? Establishing and optimizing the process
? Support sales team in all ocean sales activities
? Broadcast the brand in the marketing among ocean carriers, suppliers and clients.
? Develop the strong team and improve the team effectiveness by coaching the team members, developing talents, creating open, energize and harmonious working atmosphere
? Strategic Direction and financial results: Constantly review opportunities and threats in the market and make the best of them based on resources available and strengths and weaknesses of same.
? People Management: Lead 2 sub team leaders, and develop all colleagues to achieve the maximum of their potential
? Upgrade supplier management and procurement - reducing cost: Deliver a second to none customer service through managing carriers, cfs and LCL suppliers
? Increase Productivity: Constantly find ways to work smarter and take redundancy out of the process
Requirements
? Ocean market insight and experience, freight forwarding experience is a plus
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
? Willingness to learn and can-do attitude
? Strong commercial understanding
? English BULATS score of 4- or above
? Ocean product specialist
? Good financial understanding
? Analytical skills
? Proven Negotiation skills
? People management experience
? Established network with carriers and other relevant business partners.
