Job Description
Department: Operational Excellence Office
Location: Yangzhou
Position Title: OE Director, China
Reports To: Managing Director

Position Objective:
OE Director will take full responsible for company wide Business Process Optimization/ Quality Assurance/ EMS-HSE implementation/ and other corporate initiatives in Hyva Mechanics (Yangzhou), with an emphasis on leadership/ employee engagement/ sustainable results/ and cultural transformation to build a world-class operations.
Responsibilities:
World Class Operations improvement - Direct, drive, the transformation and integration of business processes & systems into a world class operations through use of Lean, Sigma Logic and other quality/performance improvement techniques
The Operational Excellence System - Function as an internal expert in first defining, then rolling out, and implementation of Operational Excellence system, develop strategy and execute plans.
Organizational Development - Provide leadership, coaching and training in leading large scale culture change. Provide guild line and direction and to lead significant change and work with cross-functional leadership team to reconcile any issues or obstacles
Teaching / Mentoring - Hands-on leadership and teaching of Operational Excellence principles and tools. Develop learning opportunities for executive leadership. Develop a company-wide appreciation for performance improvement opportunities and approach across all functions
Business Process Management System - Continuously enhance business processes across all functions, solidify critical processes into OA-BPM system and ensure the system in line with business objective and support rapid business growth
Quality Management, EMS & HSE Systems - Design, implement, manage, and continuously improve quality systems and procedures, exceed the expectations of customers, and minimize the risk associated with the design, manufacture, and delivery of products and services; Also includes processes for coordinating supplier audit, product examination and failure analysis, initiation of corrective action, determination of warranty responsibility and customer response; Manage the EMS function, ensure compliance to all related laws and regulations.


Qualifications and Experiences:
This position is highly visible and dynamic in the organization. It requires a person who is enthusiastic and tenacious, as well as professional and articulate. The incumbent must be able to motivate and direct cross-functional teams to desired result through skillful application of Lean - Six Sigma, Quality & EMS methodology. Specifically:
1. Possess a high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to quest for operational excellence in a dynamic environment that strives to exceed customer expectations
2. Must be initiative and proactive
3. Broad experience in a process improvement role with significant scope and business experience in an operating role
4. Demonstrated ability to drive changes and continuous improvement, and to excite organization to want to achieve world-class performance
5. Good understanding of multiple functions.
6. High degree of creativity and problem solving skills, facilitation skills, analytical skills and training skills
7. Must have a minimum of 10 years of quality management, operations management with rich experience in Lean & Six Sigma, at least 5 years in senior leadership role
8. BB certification preferred.
