Responsibilities:
1.Provide leadership and expertise in the development and execution of Nike “supply chain” initiatives (current & future). Proactively influence internal business partners to ensure the needs and objectives of Nike’s retail account base are incorporated in all initiatives. (35%)
- Effectively communicate all Nike’s “supply chain” strategies to the assigned account base.
-Influence account base to sell-in Nike supply chain programs that increase operational efficiencies. Lead the initial implementation of programs with cross-functional business partners (internal and external).
-Support all supply chain needs for critical Marketplace initiatives
2.Effectively work with assigned account to continuously improve end-to-end process, system solution and organization.( 20% )
- Build key operational knowledge and relationships with assigned account base. Understand their business model, operation capabilities/constraints, systems & processes.
- Lead all continuous improvements initiative to improve either Nike and Account supply chain
3. Proactively manage retailer "service requests" through Nike's internal evaluation process. Drive all related communication with retailers. Communicate and liaise with relevant cross functional business partners to valuate and develop solutions. Proactively participate in the evaluation (of the requests) to balance retailer needs with industry standards, Nike ability, direction, and potential cost impacts. (15%)
- Acknowledge and respond to customer’s service requests on a timely basis.
- Utilize internal experts to provide relevant analysis of request, through utilization of service process model.
- Overall service offering management
4.Effectively articulate Nike Retail “supply chain” requirements to internal cross-functional business partners. Work with peer group to define supply chain processes to support Nike Retail.( 15%)
- Build key operational knowledge and relationships with Nike Retail. Understand their business model, operation capabilities/constraints, systems & processes.
- Responsible to align Nike Retail vision with Nike supply chain process & system capabilities.
- Proactively address business model gaps and manage potential impact.
- Develop tools to communicate Nike Retail supply chain performance.
5.Support Account Operation Director to define long-term logistics network strategy with retailers(15%)
- Work with major retailers to define the long-term optimized logistics network for Nike China business, which can efficiently support long-term business growth needs
- Maximize synergy on infrastructure, system and vendor management between Nike and retailers
