Objective:
The Testing Engineer supports the Software Engineering department within ALRAC Engineering group.A Testing Engineer will be part of a software engineering team supporting avionics integrated surveillance system products through the development, test and verification life-cycle.

Main Accountabilities:
Gather product knowledge:

Expand knowledge: Product domain, Requirements, Design, Development, Test and Release software processes, tools, methods and coding best practices with primary emphasis on taking technical ownership in a software component of the product domain.

Software Testing Architecture:

Under the guidance of Sr. Testing Engineer, design testing solutions for software embedded systems of moderate tohigh complexity. Collaborate with software development engineers to develop test interface specifications for software deliverables.

Software Testing:

Participate in cross-functional team efforts in definition, integration, verification and validation for products and sub-systems of moderate to high complexity.

Software Integration:

Perform debugging and integration of software components above and below currently developed software. Learn and be able to use test equipment (e.g. processor emulator) and software debugging tools (e.g. Wireshark) to aid in the integration process. Learn techniques and skills required to identify a root cause of a given software integration issue.

Teamwork:

Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, verification and validation for products and sub-systems of limited to moderate complexity.

Essential Skill & Competencies:
1. Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field, and five years of related experience.
2. Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences/paragraphs in English for work-related documents.
3. Speaking – Can deliver concise and articulate speeches in English.
4. Writing - Produces reports and proposals in English that are clearly and concisely written.
5. Analysis - Demonstrates the ability to provide a general analysis of a problem or situation.
6. Cooperation - Recognizes that individual goals contribute toward accomplishing team outcomes.
7. Dependability - Demonstrates the ability to follow through with work assignments and support management's policies and procedures.
