Job Descriptions:

? Coordination of Design Information with Manufacturing Function

? Assist with Integration of Design Requirements Into Manufacturing Processes

? Coordinate application of the compressor into Customer vehicle systems.

? Recommend appropriate compressor design content to meet Customer vehicle performance specifications

? Support the investigation of Customer Assembly Plant issues

? Coordination of design change with manufacturing

? Development and Support of cost reduction initiatives

? Provide failure analysis for development, validation, and field return compressors and implement corrective actions involving design, manufacture or Customer application.

? Design and manage testing to support the above.

? Understand Requirements for Precision Mechanical Components

? Perform Engineering Analysis

? Coordinates Engineering Activities Associated a Manufacturing Environment.

? Ability to work With Customer to resolve issues.

? Issues and Maintains Engineering Documents

? Provides Technical Service and Direction

? Purchase compressor components, engineering lab tooling, fixtures and materials to support engineering lab activities

? Assist engineering lab testing activities

? Assist warranty analysis activities

? Assist quality and manufacturing on all components design issues

Requirements:

? College degree with major in engineering is required

? Ability to propose and evaluate complex mechanical designs is required

? Ability to analyze test data, prepare reports, make presentations and coordinate with other groups is required

? Problem solving and Design of Experiments training preferred

? CAD experience in UG preferred

? Work experience in compressor/pump design/development/prototyping

? Work experience with A/C systems design and performance

? Work experience in a manufacturing Plant

Work experience involving interaction with the Customer
