Key Areas of responsibility:

1. Project management: leading site implementation by defining and conduction improvement projects following DMAIC approach and criteria (LSS)

2. Planning: responsible for site work plan, project brief, site resource plan, site project org chart, milestone plan, and deliverables plan.

3. Business commitment: responsible to get business commitment and network to make the project a success on site level. Ensure people's involvement where necessary through proper communication, commitment and planning.

4. Measurement, reporting and communication according to agreed KPI's

5. Risk & issue Management: responsible for Risk Management by managing site project's exposure to risk by taking action to keep that exposure to an acceptable level.

6. Project finalization: responsible for project closure on local level and evaluation.

7. Teamwork: collect, inform and give input to other purchasing departments (e.g. continuous improvement) on relevant topics to people responsible. Feedback loop and inform site stakeholders on actions.

8. Cross-functional/cross-departmental teamwork: involve other departments/functions/experts (e.g. site departments, accounts payable department) in time and according to agreed planning within site project to ensure project progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

The role of P2P Project Lead is a project role which offers great opportunities to broaden your experience by working across BG's in a global setting.

The dynamic character of the DS projects demands the project lead to be very flexible and have good communication skills on site where projects are executed. Management of change and managing customer expectations at sites are important aspects.

P2P site projects are change projects in which the organization will have to change. This means that the project lead is an enabler of this change and need the skills to help managing this in a complicated environment in which he/she constantly needs explaining win-win opportunities. There is a great challenge to bring and keep the standards in line with DSM Purchasing standards/requirements on site level.

• Level of thinking equivalent to bachelor degree, preferably related to Purchasing, Supply Chain or Manufacturing
• Lean Six Sigma experience (DMAIC approach)
• Black Belt is a plus
• Relevant Project Management Skills (3-5 years)
• Team motivator
• Excellent Purchasing skills (P2P) is a plus
• Fluent in English and preferably one other European language
