Role synopsis

? Assists QC & Lab manager to oversee QC laboratory operation
? To be responsible for leading a team consisted of QC technicians and accomplish daily operation.
? To assist other teams in new product development, formulation optimization and customer complaint
? To be responsible for following up company lab HSSE regulations and Global QA Manual regime

Location Shenzhen

Key accountabilities

l Coordinate and oversee daily quality control activities, ensure proper operation, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and standardization of reagents to build up confidence in equipment’s performance and test methods
l Responsible for the maintenance of formulation
l Maintain and update test methods used in the laboratory and provide relevant training to lab technicians
l Set up new test equipment, develop new procedures and provide relevant training to lab technicians
l Make investigation and conduct troubleshoots for any plant quality related issues
l Update/add new products/test requirements information in Lab Information Management System
l Be involved in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and TS 16949 and act as internal auditor to carry out audit work in plant level and close the gaps existed in QC & Lab area
l Operate QC and Lab in a safe, tidy and efficient style by conducting regular or irregular housekeeping
l Help to handle customer complains, visit customer if necessary
l To monitor the consumption of chemical reagents and other consumables in the laboratory and inform the Laboratory Manager when stocks need to be replenished to make sure Lab operation continuity
l To carry out all required administrative work punctually and to the required standard
l Assist or involve in company project

Essential Education

? A bachelor degree in Chemistry or equivalent

Essential experience and job requirements

? Knowledge of Lubes industry test standards and their implementation
? At least 5 years laboratory experience
? Familiarity with main test equipment items
? Rich formulation management and project management experience
? Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in English and Mandarin
? Strong self-motivation
? Interpretation skills
? SKillful computer literate
