Job Summary:
The Logistic Manager is expected to supervise the planning and material purchasing team. He is also supervising customs and shipping.
He /she is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Requirements:
BS/BA degree. 5+ years of related MRP, DRP or product specific forecasting in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Familiarity with Tiptop systems and/or excellent knowledge of other ERP system
Profound knowledge of Chinese customs and tax laws
Must understands integrated supply chain and logistic concepts
Must be able to communicate supply chain objectives clearly and convey the benefits to the organization
Must be knowledgeable in planning and forecasting systems (MRP/DRP/ERP)
Must have experience in implementing Planning/Forecasting system
Proficient in MS Excel
Excellent analytical abilities
Experience in the Electronics Manufacturing industry is preferred
Excellent team-building and project management skills

Job Descriptions:
Develop and manage Materials Planning function for goods and materials demanded by Company's vessels.
Create item specific forecasts over a rolling time horizon to be used for ordering and inventory management purposes.
Create integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process.
Identify systems tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems.
Lead reengineering efforts as it relates to supply chain planning and execution systems.
Other responsibilities include:
Manage and supervise staff tasked with creating material requirement plans and/or forecasts;
Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning / forecasting;
measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management;
familiar with the development, use, and implementation of planning and forecasting systems;
Apply expertise to specify system functionality;
Travel within China and HongKong to develop and supervise the planning/forecasting process and utilize computer software programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, for data analysis and reporting.
