Requirements:
At least 8 years experience in Manufacturing processes, Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality/Development.
Prefer Master in Electrical/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or Relevant Engineering discipline.
ASQC or SME certified preferred
Thorough knowledge of Six Sigma, ISO 13485, ISO 9000, FDA-QSR, China Medical Regulations.
Working knowledge of PC-based software (spreadsheet, project management, statistical, CAD/CAM)
Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
Problem solving and decision making skills
Analytical skills
Cost awareness and effectiveness
Team player

Responsibility:
Understanding of the overall business.
Responsible for key areas of:
Supplier Quality(raw material and distribute products),
Process Quality,
Outgoing Quality
Customer-reported Quality.
International Regulatory Compliance.
Deal with business concepts and complexity comfortably.
Is future orientated, can create competitive and breakthrough strategies.
Demonstrate knowledge and utilization of concept of "Cost of Quality" for effective business decisions.
Acts as management representative for ISO-9000, ISO 13485, FDA and China Inspections
Develops plan and programs/oversees compliance for all governmental regulations (FDA-QSR, ISO 9000, GMP, UL, ETL, MDD, CSA, China Medical Regulation, etc.)
Maintains constant interaction with Corporate U.S. Regulatory Affairs Department.
Studies specifications and confers with Engineering to resolve design problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures and costs.
To provide the ongoing support and improvement for all company Asia suppliers. To promote the preferred supplier certification program. Corrective improvement action system
Develop excellent working relationships with relevant external suppliers, manufacturers, third party laboratories and related departments.
To reduce supplier defect rates to the levels acceptable to Invacare Asia.
To manage projects with internal customers to solve technical and production problems.
Responsible for resolving Supplier Quality related problems arising from the production process and provides recommendations to determine statistical control and process capabilities.
Strive for continuous quality improvement and maintain appropriate system for supplier development.
Supervise the Quality team to carry out the daily quality control function.
Systematic approach to continuous improvement.
Remain apprised of the progress of major projects, paying particular attention to any developing problems, and participate in major problem resolution.
Manages a good working relation with related Team and various internal departments
Sets performance plans and reviews with each direct report
Provide counsel and guidance to management personnel to contribute to optimum utilization of information processing services
