Job Brief
You will responsible for product design and team management.
Core Responsibilities
· Set up Luminaire R&D team with accountability and passion to take innovative and productive challenge. · Utilize available electronic/mechanical techniques to lighting products.
· Lead team to conduct an innovative product develops from concept to mass production with those strong sense of price, time and quality projects, and coach engineers to enhance their creative solution and product develop ability.
· Manage standard Milestone developing process into product develop project.
· Be creative to develop new luminaire product. Be qualified the design verification and validation, risk analysis and the risk management.
· Assist marketing and sales with customer requirement voice to solid product specification, and feedback the quotation, prototyping, and improvement.
· Work with management to define the product roadmap. Update quarterly or semi-annual according to marketing input or project priority.
· Work with management to ensure all projects are adequately resourced, and that resources are shared across projects in line. Plan/track all projects to ensure on-time delivery with quality assured.
· Assist operations with NPI, process validation and production ramp up support.
· Participate and respond key Customer/Project technical communication, ensure product specification meet customer requirement.
Basic Qualifications
· College degree or above, majored in Marketing, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Minimum 10 years’ in Product development and research, engineering management in an international context (latter is a positive extra). Experience of North America market is plus.
· Proven ability to deliver high quality results in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment. Analytical skills and hands-on mentality.
· Excellent verbal and written communications as well as strong presentation skills
· Standard Mandarin and Fluent in English.
· Team player, detail oriented, hands on resolve issues, self-motivated with dive in attitude; strong confidentiality; with an analytical mindset; highly work enthusiasm; strong principle, strong responsibility.
