TGIChinaManager – GLOBAL TGI
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

General Description:
As Kantar Media TGI’s representative in China the role is to focus on improving CNRS-TGI China’s market position, and achieve financial growth through proactive, strategic client acquisition and retention in close cooperation with CTR and Kantar Media (TGI). It involves managing partner relationships (i.e. CTR, MCB, CSM and other potential partners) and key client relationships. This involves identifying potential clients and business opportunities, and selling progressively the full range of CNRS-TGI China services and product extensions to build the market and reputation of CNRS-TGI, Global TGI and Kantar Media in China.
Key Objectives:
Managing CTR/Kantar Media’s TGI partnership and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
Assess business development needs and develop client strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Become a trusted advisor to key clients by managing the services and initiatives provided and supported by CNRS-TGI and Global TGI.
Lead new product development initiatives (CNRS-TGI China product extensions) and assume the product management role from proposal phase through to going concern.
Identify valuable marketing and PR opportunities and support promotion of CNRS-TGI China, enhancements and new product developments within China and overseas.
Specific Responsibilities:
Business Development/Sales Support (50%)
Make sales to media and marketing players, primarily but not limited to major international 4A agencies; the products to promote including CNRS-TGI China subscriptions and services, TGRs and new product extensions.
Create and deliver sales and marketing presentations providing an overview of services and capabilities to all levels of client’s management.
Proposal-writing, following up actively with prospects and clients, contract preparation, monitoring of invoicing and payment schedules.
Build high-quality client relationships to promote repeat business, provide outstanding support, and monitor satisfaction at all levels and amongst stakeholders in the client’s organisation.
Develop and grow client base and seek new revenue opportunities.
Assist to with sales to local 4As, traditional media owners, newspapers, magazines, outdoor, TV, radio, digital and brand owners.
Support Global TGI sales efforts by providing quotations, responding to enquiries about CNRS-TGI China, and facilitating the delivery of a high-quality harmonised CNRS-TGI database.
Client Service (20%)
Support CTR client service team to prepare training materials and to deliver on-site training for current clients of CNRS-TGI or any other products applicable to CTR/Kantar agreements.
Be responsible for quality control of English client service materials including CNRS-TGI questionnaire, technical report, product introduction and etc.
Partner Relationships: Principally CTR/CNRS (10%)
Facilitate partner negotiations and agreements; primary objective to achieve ‘win-win’ and sustainable outcomes for all parties.
Manage the communication between the parties to ensure maximum levels of mutual understanding and co-operation.
Manage administration, accounting and financial reconciliations between the parties.
Provide methodology and technical support to CTR for CNRS-TGI China and other associated products included in the TGI-CNRS cooperation.
Work with CTR, Global TGI London, GB TGI, the Global TGI network and Kantar Media partners to deliver solutions to problems faced by CNRS-TGI China and clients.
Provide sales progress reports to CTR for local sales, and on behalf of Global TGI overseas sales efforts.
Regular participation in relevant CTR team meetings.
New Product Development (15%)
TGRs Product Management; including coordination with London/CSM/CTR, sales and marketing leadership.
New product development initiatives: develop specific proposals, cooperation and commercial models, business plans, action plans and milestones to implement, through to client delivery.
Managing and facilitating partner cooperation (i.e. actively negotiate with key stakeholders and counterparts to obtain required approvals and resources).
Continuously track plans and milestones.
Participate in technical discussions and presentations.
Marketing (5%)
Work with the CTR-MCB and CTR Marketing teams to identify and support marketing, PR, conference and event initiatives.
Edit the CNRS-TGI China eNewsletter; contribute content, work with the CTR team to create content, and ensure newsletter is released to target audience every two months.
Maintain the CNRS-TGI China newsletter mailing database.
Initiate and support Global TGI’s international marketing activities.
