RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:

This position is responsible for PAC Program Management within the Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning Commercial Business Unit (JCH-CBU). Lead PAC Program throughout JCH-CBU and coordinate versatile activities with Product Manager, Product Portfolio Manager, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Chain, and OEM/ODM partner.

This person is recognized as Program Management leader for PAC products within JCH-CBU. Provides leadership in Program and Project management.

This position calls for strong program and project planning, budgeting, executing/monitoring, risk mitigating, and communications with the program and project team to ensure the PAC products launching on time globally thought JCH PDP. .

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Program and Project Planning:

a. Plan Global PAC Program with PAC Product Manager and Engineering to close global PAC product gaps

b. Plan Global PAC Footprint with PAC Product Manager, Manufacturing, and Supplier Chain to optimize product cost

c. Individual project planning with Engineering & Quality to based on Global PAC Program launching roadmap

d. Plan program and project team

2. Budgeting:

a. Work with Engineering on project development expense

b. Work with Manufacturing on capital investment & localization

c. Prepare Business Case for management approval

3. Executing & Monitoring:

a. Utilize project management tool

b. Lead project team driving through JCH Product Development Process on time and within budget

c. Organize meetings, reviews, and do follow ups

d. Keep monitoring project progress and document project deliverables

4. Risk Mitigating:

a. Identify program and project risk, and work out mitigation plan

b. Keep monitoring risks and executing mitigation plan

5. Organizing, and Communicating & Reporting:

a. Organize and maintain a cohesive and efficient project team

b. Keep fluent and effective communication

c. Report program and project progress in different level

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or above, and above 5 years of strong familiarity with HVAC equipment and systems a strong preference, and experience with big program management a strong preference.

Must have demonstrable program and project management skills, possessing strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, executing, and risk mitigating. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required. Travel is required 20% to 30% of the time.

Good communication and presentation skills

Fluency in English is a requirement, and fluency in Mandarin and/or Japanese a strong preference.
