Job Description:
-Be responsible for decisions regarding day-to-day operations, supplies, outsourcing, customer service, materials and logistics, human resources, employee relations, performance management, progressive discipline, maintenance and finance.
-Develop, plan and implement goals and objectives consistent with the Agency's mission, vision, strategic plan and key performance indicators.
-Assist the Asia President in managing and directing activities of the facility.
-Utilize performance planning techniques to identify, establish, achieve and measure progress towards meeting these goals and objectives.
-Providing guidance to team members to meet deadlines and maximize efficiency; encourages teamwork through communication of company and. facility goals and objectives.
-Directly, or by supporting Department Managers, establish performance standards and evaluate performance; review performance evaluations and disciplinary recommendations to ensure that fair and consistent application.
-Provide recommendations and implements best practices.
-Attend inter-departmental meetings and provide guidance and assist with projects, programs and Company initiatives; review status of progress to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets are maintained.
-Confer with management team regarding capital improvement plans, budget planning and workforce planning.
-Analyze departmental work programs and conduct studies of systems and procedures, providing direction for continuous improvement.
-Support Asia President and Sales Director with prospect/sales calls, show and provide prompt, professional and courteous-sales support during-sales tours, assist-with agreements and sales-related inquiries.
-Conduct negotiations with suppliers, customers and government agencies as required.
-Coordinate with legal counsel regarding legislation, contracts, employment standards and other high-level issues, as required.
-Ensure lull compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and policies within the facility.
Job Requirement:
-A University graduate in Business Administration or Engineering, the successful candidate will already have a minimum of ten years related experience and equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate would ideally have extensive experience in the plastics injection molding or machinery industry.
-He/she must have effective communication and people leadership skills as well as an international outlook-It is essential that the successful candidate should demonstrate the ability of communicate effectively with employees, business partners(internal and external), management and customers.
-Strong process minded and disciplined with attention to detail; considerable knowledge of project management, operations, engineering, and maintenance.
-Customer focused and experienced in stakeholder relationship management and influencing others, with sound organizational awareness.
-Demonstrate high level of integrity and strong commitment and loyalty to the company.
-Must hold fluent English skills.
