Hiring manager: Retail Segment Manager (Building Business Unit)

Retail segment introduction
Retail segment is one of the key global strategic segments led by building business unit. It is a very key accounts approach oriented segment which generates hundreds millions euro scale business globally and 10millions euro in China. Benefited from fast growth of China economy, yearly growth rate of retail segment is estimated as more than 15% in coming 3-5 years.

Schneider group has a solid foundation in retail segment. Major customers cover most of the big international retail groups, such as Carrefour, TESCO, Auchan, Wal*Mart, etc.

Schneider provides wide coverage solutions/services for retail customers which includes power distribution solution, building automation (BA) system, HVAC/ lighting control and energy management solution (EMS).

We are looking for an experienced KA sales manager who can bring new retail resources especially from China national retail group or shopping mall field.

· Position Scope:
The retail KAM will primarily drive the business of defined retail key accounts and responsible for his individual yearly sales target. He/she will also support other retail sales team to achieve the overall retail team performance.

· Responsibilities:
Reach yearly sales target is one of the key performance indicators for this position. It will include:
- Responsible for defined KA sales result and individual yearly sales target
- Work with retail technical expert to develop KA adapted solution offer
- Build up long term KA business plan
- Develop new KAs
- Lead the coordination to organize different B.U’s offers to meet KA’s business needs.
- Cooperate with global key account manager and work as a local KAM to support global strategic account (GSA)’s local business.

· Qualifications:
We prefer an experienced KA sales manager with experience in shopping mall area. Key account sales experiences will be a necessity. Preferably knowledge of HVAC system or project management for retail industry is definitely a competitive advantage. Relation with Wuhan big retail group (shopping mall) is a plus. The operational experiences from a big retail group or SI will be highly recognized.

It is extremely important for the candidate to be a self-starter, who is extremely driven, excellent with people and able to pitch his or her ideas both internally and externally. Good communication and coordination skills are critical for this position. Schneider uses English as its official language, good English language skills (spoken and written) is necessary. This position will be mainly taking care of customers from China south region. Good Cantonese capability will be a plus.

· Academic qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in technical or marketing field ideally followed by advanced business degree such as MM or MBA.

· Experience:
Minimum 8 years relevant job experience
