About This Job:
This person reports to Biotic Stress Management Manager. The accountabilities are as follows,
?Work with product biology team in the implementation of the yearly lab bioassay or field trial plan and ensure the high success rate of trial conducted
?Work independently with minimum supervision to produce high quality lab bioassay or field trial data or in collaboration with pathologist/entomologist to produce lab/greenhouse bioassay data for product and technology proposition, integrated pesticide resistance management strategy decision
?Work with product biology team in trial reporting in the China & global field trial report system efficiently
?Provide technical support to technical service teams in the academic and extension influencer management
?Provide lab/greenhouse bioassay or support to technical service and marketing & sales team in handling customer complaint and enquiry
?Identify areas for process and technical improvements and provide solutions to increase the quality of the experiments
Qualifications
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
?Good knowledge of agronomy, chemistry, plant pathology or Entomology, genetics, molecular biology, statistics, and pesticide sciences
?Basic knowledge of farming practice
?2 to 3 years experience in conducting biology experiment includding field trials to evaluate the efficacy and crop response of pesticides and related experimental techniques or doing lab pesticide bioassay
?Successful higher level academic training with good plant pathology/ entomology, pesticide science or biology and molecular biology education and technical knowledge
Qualifications:
?An MS degree or BSc degree plus 2-3 years’ work in one of the agricultural sciences such as plant protection biology or molecular biology, , with training and experience in applied sciences preferred
?Ability to communicate both (Verbal and Written) in English
?Strong ability to develop, perform and review lab protocols with a strong focus on efficiency and meeting project goals
?Basic skills of project management, strategic project planning and resource management.
?Skilled in interacting and communicating with internal and external customers
