Responsibilities:
1. TENDERS PROJECTS
- Establish systematic processes across all divisions to effectively manage the tendering and bidding requirements at a provincial level.
- Make recommendations on structure, systems and accountability for an effective tendering organization.
- Establish a working knowledge of the tendering process across china and develop relationships with key government agencies.
- Manage the preparation, coordination and review of all tenders / contracts/ PPA agreements for the respective business units, prior to submission.
- Notify Marketing and Sales Managers in sufficient time prior to contract and price expiries to allow re-negotiation.
- Liaising with Commercial Team to ensure the loading of all tender and PPA Agreement pricing has been executed in a timely and accurate manner and ensuring tracking of all information.
- Assist Regional and Product Managers in appropriate pre and post tender activities.
- Produce standard post tender product/price/unit of sale communication for all internal staff and external where appropriate which will aid in implementation communication.
- Manage whole post tender process for respective province/city
- Work in conjunction with the Divisional Manager and Customer Logistics Manager to ensure all Contract methodologies – Reports – Standard Tender responses etc are of a consistent nature and consistent amongst the regions where possible.
- Work in conjunction with division managers, regional managers and sales assistants to ensure a sound working knowledge of all Tender requirements for provinces and cities to ensure a comprehensive backup / assistance in times of either vacation or heavy –uneven work load.
- Assist in the development of key account management reports to assist with strategy decisions to ensure profitability maximized
2. PRICING
- To ensure all appropriate approvals are in place for Tenders and PPAs through to liaising with the Customer Service Team to ensure timely system implementation.
- Managing of expiry dates to minimize disruption pertaining to Tenders / PPAs for applicable regions of responsibility.
- Further develop in conjunction with the Divisional Managers and Customer Logistics Manager appropriate reports to provide to Sales and Marketing to aid in pricing strategy and tactical decisions
- Liaise with marketing to create an effective pricing strategy in line with business requirements whilst minimizing system maintenance and maximizing efficiency
- Ensure all tracking logs have been maintained with the required information.
- Ensure all relevant sales reporting and analysis as per contract requirements are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree preferred major in statistics, economy, medicine, marketing, Language or business. Master degree in economy, finance, marketing etc. or MBA a plus
- Supervisory/management experience desirable.
- Previous experience with multi layer pricing and contracts.
- Previous experience with tenders and Government relationship management in healthcare industry, dealing with medical devices preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple pending deadlines.
- Team management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of system skills especially Excel and Word
- Multi-tasking, flexibility and the ability to cope with high customer demands
