Industrial design trainee

To be located in China, Shanghai.

Visual Design organization in China & Asia Technology has global responsibility to research and develop new KONE elevators, escalators and auto walks.

Purpose:

We are looking for an Industrial design trainee to join our design team for this summer. In this position you will be part of Design Team supporting innovation in KONE R&D. Your role is to assist industrial design specialists in their tasks from mock-up making to creating new design proposals.

We expect you to have:

1.To be successful in this position you should have:

2.Good attitude (Can do!)

3.Basic English communication skills

4.(Industrial) design major, preferably undergraduate grade 3 student

5.Good IT skills, e.g. MS office tools (e.g. excel, word), 3D design tools etc.,

6.Previous working experience is not required

Responsibilities:

1.Working in the design team, reporting to design manager

2.Handling mock-up preparations and deliveries

3.Participating design work in guidance of design specialists
