Essential Responsibilities

The Lead Product Definition Engineer works in GE Wind Engineering team in China to delivers modeling, assembly, drawing and technical specifications for wind turbine and component.
• Create and modify mechanical model & drawing per design instruction from design team, while making sure drawings in compliance with standards and corporate guidelines
• Create part and assembly 3D model for concept design, check interface, space, dimensions and provide feedback to optimize the design
• Work closely with the design team to plan, design and implement technical changes to components of wind turbine
• Drive accountability that designs are accurately represented via models, drawings and BOMs
• Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies & Procedures, Engineering Standards, Specifications and Industry Standards
• Provide training to other engineering teams on drawing related standards or corporate guidance.
• Other assignment per business need

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years' experience in UG 3D modeling and drafting on mechanical components
• Essential English skill (writing & reading proficiency required).
• Ability to build relationships and integrate within a diversified culture high-energy global technology team
• Systematic thinking, self-directed
• Flexible to assignment per business urgency
• Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules simultaneously
