Essential Responsibilities
Based in variable wind plant sites within great China region as representative of GE service.
Provide customers with high quality, value added service solutions involving installation and maintenance of wind energy products.
Provide technical direction and/or field execution management of wind energy projects within the region as required.
Support the business growth requirements by offering feedback to regional leadership on improvement areas and business opportunities.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers to make customer technical issues/requirements understood and addressed in a timely manner.
On site tools, inventory & logistic management.
Provide wind plant troubleshooting and maintenance. Keep wind turbines running with high performance.
Support conversions, modifications, upgrade and site retrofit work as request.
Maintain technical and commercial documentation on time and accurate according to GE quality policy.
Cooperate with function team such as sales, parts, engineering, operation, etc. from site.
EHS mindset and compliance, site implementation.
Service quality control on site and sub-contractors management.
Site indirect material & service purchasing.
Optimize site job according to weather condition.
Fulfill wind turbine commissioning/installation project.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor Degree in electrical/Electromechanical engineering, or three years equivalent experience.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel
Demonstrate consistently high levels of performance in all areas of responsibility.
Work efficiently without direct supervision.
Customer Service mindset.
Team work & strong execution ability.
Willing to travel frequently.
Ability and willingness to handle repetitive weight (up to 22Kg.) and climb towers up to 100 meter.
Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
Ability and willingness to be available for rotation shift.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills both in English and Chinese.
Experience working directly with customers.
Field engineer experience
Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
