Position Description:
Scope of Responsibility:
• Responsible for ensuring high material quality level as measured against Six-Sigma.
• Follow up and verify supplier process/quality control and ensure suppliers’ compliance against product/process requirements.
• Continuous improvement on supplier’s quality system and supplied material quality
• Ensure supplier readiness for new product launch and supply of quality products.
• Timely reporting/response
Expectations:
• Drive Competitive Component Performance through Product Life Cycle
 Working with Supplier to develop new component to meet the Design for Quality, Design for cost and Design for manufacturability target.
 Involve NPI sourcing plan and supplier selection
 NPI Material Risk Assessment and Mitigation
 Build in Quality through quality gate management in product development cycle
 Ensure supply continuity
 Fast response and Drill Deep & Wide on critical quality issues.
 Introduce new category technology/material to DE
• Drive suppliers for new components’ qualification
 Conduct supplier audits and improvement step down plans to drive supplier process improvements,
 Early Involve for NPI, Risk assessment, PPAP/PSO of critical parts.
• Manage resolution of complex technical quality issues with suppliers and engineers, through persistent communications and creative teamwork.
 Supplier process development, capability and escape prevention, supplier delivery issue containment action and permanent action.
 Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying Quality System Performance Metrics, Analyzing data collected, preparing continuous improvement plans, and implementing improvement plans.
 Travel to suppliers to discuss and initiate corrective action and follow-up.

Position Requirements:
Specific Knowledge / Skills:
• Engineering Degree BS or MS
• 5+ years’ experience in FPR(Finger Print Module, or BGA module, Flip Chip technology or Chip_On_Flex) Manufacturing Process, or Design, or related Quality roles
• Knowledge and Expertise of FPR products preferred;
• Good problem solving skills ( 8D, Drill Deep Drill Wide, SPC, DOE, DMAIC, etc)
• Six Sigma GB, BB is a plus, ISO9000 or similar quality system experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (in Chinese and English), as well as ability to effectively interact with internal and external suppliers.
