Position Description:
Work as Material quality counterparts for MOTO EE SDE, responsible for material quality(Key Parts, LCM and TP) for MOTO Products...
Scope of Responsibility/Expectation:
Procurement Engineering (PE) Organization is part of the Lenovo/Motorola Mobility Supply Chain Organization and is responsible for supplier performance management that enables Motorola Mobility to deliver products faster, with the highest quality and at the lowest cost.

Initiate and lead strategic initiatives and projects to support the flawless launch of New Products. Drive an audit and test strategy that holds the Supplier accountable for their overall quality system, operational excellence, and technology capability.

Support the resolution of Supplied Material Quality issues found during the new product introduction phase and/or mass production manufacturing.

Drive strategic actions that improve the overall performance of delivered material quality as measured through Supplier Performance metrics and key process indicators (KPIs).

Partner with internal and external Technology Teams on the trends and advancement of components across Lenovo/Motorola Mobility. Work with Procurement to position and align supply base capability and capacity to future technology

Position Requirements:
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
5+ years experience in Quality with focus on Supplier Management, Experience within the electronics industry or applicable fields
Knowledge and experience with Battery (Pack/Cell) technology and manufacturing process, quick learner
Proven results on developing strategies and driving execution on end to end processes. Solid understanding of end to end supply chain with knowledge of procurement and cost drivers.
Should be a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills. Able to communicate in both verbal and written forms in English.
Engineering knowledge in DOE, FMEA, SPC, Process Characterization, GR&R etc.
Certification in Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is preferred & also auditing experience, preferably ISO certified auditor.
