Essential Responsibilities

• Work closely with various divisions of GE P&W and supplier to conduct FPQ, Quality Surveillance, and Fulfillment management Aid in supplier approval process, manufacturing, technology, and SRG risk analysis.
• Be the technical focal point for supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance of power generation components.
• Establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of supplier’s quality, cycle, and delivery performance through Six Sigma.
• Provide leadership to drive growth in business cooperation between GE & China supplier base.
• Work closely with GE P&W Sourcing, Manufacturing, Engineering and Suppliers to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirement.

Qualifications/Requirements

• BS/MS Engineering Degree.
• + 10 years of hands-on experience in supplier development experience, experience in quality or supplier technical development in Gasification, Boiler and/or Chemical Equipment is preferred.
• Familiar with welding, assembly and testing operations of heavy equipment (Gasifier, Boiler, Heavy Vessels and other heat exchangers).
• The working experience in heavy equipment from the state owned business is highly valued.
• Demonstrated project management, leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills: background in interpretation of blueprints/specifications, metrology, and manufacturing process planning/evaluation.
• Ability to work in cross functional, global team environment.
• Passion for excellence with high integrity, commitment to quality, fluent in oral and written in English, willing to take frequent travel.
