Job Responsibilities:

§ Develop innovative designs to meet all requirements for functionality, performance, reliability, serviceability, cost and manufacturability of distribution transformers.

§ Collaborate with cross-functional international teams to complete electrical, mechanical, simulation, prototyping, and testing.

§ Engage in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.

§ Design, analyze, simulate and validate material/component selection.Optimize design and production process

§ Provide punctual technical support to factories, sales people and customers

§ Prepare project proposals

§ Lead the execution of transformer projects

§ Provide training to team members and factory design teams on transformers

§ Train and assist counterparts in a similar or junior position

Job Requirements:

§ Bachelor degree or above, major in high voltage & insulation or electrical/mechanical

§ At least 4 years design and production experience in power or distribution transformer factory

§ Strong candidate should also have project management experience

§ Engineering experience in transformer and power equipment design and production

§ Experience in R&D or product development is a plus

§ Ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical design or mechanical design and, ideally, also materials

§ Excellent written and verbal communication

§ Fluent in English (both speaking and writing). Minimum CET-4
