Role Summary/Purpose
The Corporate Account Manager will be the focal point for GE Water for identifying and leading commercial opportunities at defined corporate accounts in GRC region and globally as required. This position will work closely with the commercial teams across GE Water to ensure we establish relationships to maximize penetration of GE Water's solutions and increase share.
Essential Responsibilities
Ability to develop and implement complex selling strategies to achieve operating plan metrics of revenue and margin growth across their assigned corporate accounts
Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key influencers in assigned corporate account with the economic C-level buyers.
Implement and maintain the necessary operating rhythms, reporting and business processes to identify, track, negotiate and close targeted opportunities.
Lead a virtual team of account management selling professionals to best support and deliver value to the assigned corporate account.
Organize and focus the necessary GE Water resources from Commercial, Product Management, Technology, Operations and Finance to deliver the products and services required by the Energy customer base.
Oversee the ITO process for specific applications/opportunities at assigned key customers from prospecting to closure.
Oversee the preparation and submission of winning proposals that are coordinated across the broad key customer relationships, lead negotiations where necessary, maintain effective business relationships and develop/maintain necessary processes and procedures to insure selling effectiveness.
Oversee the OTR execution discussions with existing key customers to resolve issues be it service, past dues, etc.
Compile, assess, and effectively communicate relevant economic, market, competitive data to assess our aggregate opportunity and competitiveness.
Qualifications/Requirements
BS/BA Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or Marketing
Proven track record of at least 5 years selling large complex accounts, complex contracts and/or technical solutions of substantial value in the F&B industry sector.
Understanding of the water processing industries products, services, technologies and applications.
Ability to adhere to high ethical values
