职位描述
Position: Platform Manager
Purpose:
As Platform Manager, you will own and manage defined technical product platform(s). You will manage and plan changes to ensure product offering coverage, quality, reliability and full-chain competitiveness of the platform(s). You ensure release content execution and R&D projects implementation. You work in close co-operation with Area Offering and Product Line Management to ensure correct input and act as a link and lead component categories to execute required changes.
Responsibilities:
Manage platform(s) and change request for specific product(s)
1 Create a vision with Business Line Product Line Management to develop solutions for responsibility area according to KONE strategy
2 Ensure key customer benefits, product cost, reliability, ride comfort, visual, solution geometries, dimensions etc.
3 Ensure that changes are aligned with business line and platform roadmaps
4 Ensure that component category roadmaps and changes are following platform roadmap needs.
5 Lead technical analysis/ calculations on platform-level, involving needed category implementation options.
6 Maintain and update product KPI’s
7 Maintain needed documentation
Plan, follow up and help with product release
1 Participate for product steering and act as stakeholder for coming projects
2 Ensure correct implementations
3 Participate for planning and road mapping
Competitiveness management and follow up
1 Full chain cost cutting plans and targets
2 Follow up and report the cost development and actions
Quality and reliability of the platform
1 Follow up EFR and call out rate and plan actions to achieve defined targets
2 React fast for organize correction for quality problems
Understanding of volumes and ordered options
1 What options are ordered and what not
2 To what directions the volumes are growing
3 Planning C to A transfers
Participating for problem solving
1 In case of problem of platform level participate / organize solutions
2 Ensure that problems is component level will be solved quickly
3 Ensuring problem free process in ordering from frontlines
Lead, manage and develop team to perform
1 Managing high performance teams
2 Ensure the organisation has the needed competences
3 People leadership (individual performance & growth)
4 Lead working method and tool development and know-how (identify needs and manage changes)
5 Networking (internal/external) to ensure collaboration and communication
We expect you to have:
Min 5 years of product development or product life cycle management experience or excellent track record of 3 successful major projects.
Research and development methodologies
Project management methodologies
Engineering/design – mechanical / electrical / software / reliability / usability / patents / etc
Management of Technology
Evidence of leading successful team experience.
Good business negotiation & communication skills.
Collaborative and customer focused way of working.
Innovative and strategic thinking is an asset.
Good Microsoft Office skills are a must, knowledge on CAD and SAP systems or database are an asset.
Fluent written and spoken communication skills in Chinese and English are a must.
