职位描述
Role:
This person has the overall Sales & Marketing responsibility for CN PP/PPMV products within the assigned market/s. Key person in managing the collaboration with the Local BU, Front End Sales and/or End Customers of the assigned market/s, to maximize order received/profit and ABB reputation.
Accountability:
Accountable for reaching order budget of the assigned market/s. Responsible for customer relations and a correct price/margin from the CN PP/PPMV perspective in negotiations with the customer. Assures market feedback to related Product Management.
Responsibility:
1.Market Analysis
- Update market intelligence (assess business potentials within current segmentation, competition, price levels by knowing the competition) in close cooperation with Local Sales
- Feedback to Factories on new market influences (competition, product, customer requirements)
2.Marketing (incl. Marketing Communication)
- Communicate the value proposition of the offer to Local Sales and the end customer
- Assure updated and correct marketing / product information to Local Sales and the end-customer. Educate Local Sales in the CN PP/PPMV portfolio
- Create won-lost analysis by track and monitor quotations (e.g. projects lists, volume of offers), provide feed-back to Factories
- Feedback on portfolio gaps and future customer needs to support R&D processes
3.Business Development
- Drive identification of new leads and prospects together with Local Sales
- Develop the business through close cooperation with Local Sales, Account Manager, or directly with end customer where appropriate
- Presales:
• Understand customer needs and identify opportunities in close cooperation with Local Sales
• Promote and sell the CN PP/PPMV portfolio of products
• Initiate or participate in project teams or cross-selling teams for larger business deals or cross BU/Division deals
- Sales:
• Support the collection and analysis of customer data and specification
• Together with local Front End Sales and with support from Factories convince the customer, drive negotiations and close the deal - ensure customer satisfaction throughout the complete sales process
• Responsible for development of quotation together with the Factories based on the customer situation
• Participate in risk reviews (e.g. ensure CN PP/PPMV price quality)
• Track and monitor quotations (volume of offers, won-lost analysis, price-analysis) per customer and provide feedback to Factories.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English, skill in further languages will be an advantage;
- Degree in Engineering;
- Minimum 10 years sales experience in technical sales, preferably in power products;
- Strong communication skill;
- Good personality and team work.
