Essential Responsibilities
• Responsible for water and process treatment solution sales in industries like steel, power, MM, CPI/HPI market within assigned region, follow the company market strategies to drive the profitable and continuous growth to effectively meet sales goals
• Performs customer service and account maintenance duties for established customers.
• Assist with preparation of sales calls which would include research,
proposals/contracts, summaries of sales activities and follow-up., develop customer relationship and win strategy
• Assists with generating new sales by accompanies experience sales
representatives on calls to learn the business and sales approach of the
organization.
• Serves as a knowledge resources to customers using GE’s technologies to
solve identified water treatment needs
• Partners cross-functionally within organization to optimize our solutions
offering
• Supports team in meeting sales targets and is responsible for specified
team goals and objectives
• Learns and maintains awareness of all safety and environmental practices
• Survey market potential, opportunities and competition activities providing input to the preparation of sales forecasts and pipeline setup.
• Coach and train as required to assure appropriate skills and knowledge for new sales and service
Qualifications/Requirements
• over 5 years of experience in the water treatment field with proven track-record of sales
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Petroleum, Petrochemical or Mechanical), Biology, or Chemistry OR Bachelor’s degree
in any related discipline
• Ability and willingness to travel within territory.
• Overnight travel occasionally required
